Fabrics that carry movement were built for sport. They stretch, dry quickly, and breathe. Sharp cuts and considered silhouettes lived in formalwear. Nothing was made for the hours in between, where most of modern life now sits, well past the limits of a nine-to-five.
Urban Performance closed that gap: the intelligence of sportswear, set into the cut and sensibility of everyday clothing. Made to hold its shape across a twelve-hour day: composed in motion.

Richard Stad is the CEO of Aramis Inc., a premium menswear brand from Brazil with thirty years of legacy. Based in São Paulo—the fashion capital of Latin America—he launched Urban Performance from the ground up in 2022, building on an idea that first emerged in 2018. He experienced what he describes as the convergence of two worlds: the performance of technical sport fabrics and the sophistication of urban dressing. The result is a wardrobe for the modern man on the move—technical enough to keep pace, refined enough to belong anywhere.
